Flirting, chatting, and getting to know people

With so many options to choose from, online dating is a lot harder than it seems. If you are a regular user of online dating sites and apps, you would know the struggle.

One of the dating sites that I was recently introduced to is Lovoo. My friends told me to give it a try and I want to share my experience with you.

Lovoo was created back in 2011 in Germany and is an incredible dating platform for dating and making friends. Although it has a desktop site, the mobile version is a lot more popular.

Lovoo is all about taking chances. It believes that love can take place anywhere. What makes it unique is that it focuses on video conversations. Users can host videos and watch others.

Most of the users of Lovoo are either European or American. However, it is widely used across the globe by youngsters and adults alike.

In addition to being a dating site, it is also used to find friends near you.

I found it to be quite straightforward. It simply requires users to view profiles on the homepage and chat with ones that they find interesting.

One of the areas where Lovoo truly shines is usability. It is super clear and easy to use. This means that you see what is what straight away. The user interface has been perfected to ensure quick browsing. I found the profile pictures to be clear and the ideal size.

Thus, I was able to get an idea of how each user looked. Lovoo does a fantastic job at keeping things uncomplicated. There is nothing unnecessary.

When you sign up, it barely takes much time to create your profile. All you have to do is enter the basic details such as your date of birth and city.

After you have created a profile, you can fill in more details and upload a picture. The questions asked to tend to be basic such as whether you have kids, your occupation, and if you are a smoker.

You also have the option to create an account using Facebook. In order to communicate with other users, you must upload your picture.

LOVOO Live and Radar

Generally, the profile quality is quite good. It makes it easy to get an idea about each user’s personality. You also get to view their pictures and read details about them.

I did notice that most of the users only provided basic details. This is why I had no option but to ask them what type of information I can share. The app offered additional two features which include Lovoo Live and Radar.

With Lovoo Live, you get to post videos that users can see and see their videos as well. The more views your videos get, the more diamonds you will earn which you can exchange for credits.

On the other hand, Radar shows users who are nearby. As I got to use the app, I found it to be highly interactive. You can either search for users according to your preferences or swipe away.

Becoming a member

To use all the features on Lovoo, you will need to sign up for a membership.

The longer your subscription the less you would need to pay.

When you opt for membership, you get to browse the app without having to encounter any ads, use unlimited icebreakers, check who views your profile, browse anonymously, and undo swipes.

Common complaints about LOVOO

Some of the common complaints that users have with Lovoo is that there are not many features and only one icebreaker each day which might not be enough. Overall, Lovoo is a good dating app that you can use to interact with and find someone to date.

Besides, I believe that its features are enough for a great online dating experience. The app offers quality rather than quantity which is something that I like. If you want something different, there are many other dating sites that you can also check out.

Overall, Lovoo did not disappoint.
